Delightful books ~

I was overjoyed to find that our local book store had in stock French General's "Handmade Soirees", do you mean there is someone else in our small town that loves the fabrics/books by French General? I was not wasting any time and bought one copy and also noticed the second book by Made in France called "Linen and Thread".

Wonderful novels ~

I really enjoy reading Jennifer Chiaverini's www.elmcreek.net novels and have most of them now! Here are two more blocks sewn towards my new quilt.

Our trip to South Africa 2009/2010 ~

Cape Town, South Africa is the place of my birth. My husband, two children and I recently enjoyed a wonderful and memorable trip back "home". The first photo is our dear friend and my daughter on one of our trips to Stellenbosch ~ the next is of Table Mountain.
